Problem-Based Learning
Problem-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered approach in which students study complex, real-world problems by working in groups to solve an open-ended problem.
All Shelton students engage in problem-based learning (PBL) throughout their time at school.
Shelton's problem-based learning (PBL) initiative asks students to solve real world problems that connect with the community and curriculum content. Students work collaboratively to research a problem, identify solutions, and present ideas. PBL has even helped Shelton make the news and raise over $260,000 for a new school playground.
