Science and Engineering Fair

Shelton Virtual STEM Night will be on Tuesday, April 27th from 5-7:30pm on zoom.   Registration Deadline Extended to Monday April 19th.   Check out the attached flyer for more info.  Fun STEM Prizes will be raffled to participants that fill out the post-event survey.

  • 5 to 5:30pm – Q&A with Jeffco Schools Science Curriculum Coordinator

    5:30 to 6pm – Meet a Mission Planner – Hear from Beau Bierhaus, a space science researcher and Shelton dad about his work planning scientific space missions

    6 to 6:45pm - Breakout Rooms with Hands-on Activities involving Engineering Designs with Gummy Worms.  Activity Instructions and Materials Provided in Advance.  

    6:45 to 7:30pm - Breakout Rooms for students to present their own, at-home STEM Projects.  All types of STEM projects welcome: Science Experiments, Engineering Design, Research of Anything!  There is an option to check out a take home kit from the Shelton Library to be the basis for your at-home project.  

  • We will need several STEM Professionals to moderate in each of the breakout rooms.  Please sign up HERE and share the signup with other STEM Professionals that might be interested.
